High-end audiophile listening room with a two-channel hi-fi system
For audiophiles & serious listeners

Your system deserves
clean power.

Dedicated circuits, correct grounding and a listening room wired for silence. We handle the electrical side of high-end audio — so your gear performs the way it was built to.

Part one

Clean power is the upgrade most systems are missing.

You can spend a fortune on cables and DACs, but if your gear is drinking from a circuit shared with a dimmer and a fridge, you're building on sand. We fix the foundation.

Dedicated circuits

Your amplifiers get their own home-run circuits, separate from refrigerators, HVAC and everything else that makes power dirty. No more voltage sag when the compressor kicks in mid-track.

Audio-grade outlets

We install hospital-grade and audio-specification outlets with high-grip contacts. Lower contact resistance means better current delivery into demanding amplifiers — the difference is measurable, and audible.

Hum & noise elimination

Ground loops, dimmer buzz and RF hash on the line raise your system’s noise floor and blur low-level detail. We trace the noise to its source and fix it at the electrical level, not with a patch cable.

Correct grounding & bonding

A clean, properly bonded ground reference is the foundation of a quiet system. We verify and correct the grounding path your gear sees, killing the hum you’ve been chasing for years.

Isolation from noisy loads

Lighting dimmers, switch-mode supplies and motors dump hash onto shared circuits. We design separation into the wiring itself so your signal side stays clean even when the house is busy.

Surge & spike protection

Whole-system protection at the panel and point-of-use for the equipment that matters — staged so your investment survives the strike, not just the breaker.

The science

Why clean power makes music sound sharper.

Nothing about this is magic. A quieter electrical background lets more of the recording through — and the biggest single win is usually grounding.

Ground loops: the hum you can hear

When two pieces of gear see slightly different ground voltages, that tiny difference drives a current loop through your interconnects — heard as a 60 Hz hum and its harmonics. Correct grounding and bonding gives every component the same clean reference, and the hum disappears at the source.

Your noise floor sets your detail

Every millivolt of electrical hash on the line masks the quietest part of the music — reverb tails, decay, low-level notes. Lower the noise floor and those details stop being buried. That’s what listeners describe as a "sharper" sound: nothing added, just far less standing in the way.

Better current delivery, better dynamics

Amplifiers draw current in sudden bursts on musical peaks. Low-resistance wiring, high-grip outlets and short home runs mean those bursts come out of the wall intact — tighter bass, cleaner peaks, less strain at volume.

Measurable, not mystical

This isn’t cable folklore — it’s Ohm’s law. Voltage drop, contact resistance, leakage current and ground potential difference are all measurable with the right meter. We measure before and after, so you can see the improvement on the bench and hear it in the chair.

The next level

You don't need a six-figure upgrade to hear a six-figure difference.

Most systems are held back by their electrical foundation, not their components. Before you spend hundreds of thousands chasing the next box, let us fix what the boxes plug into — the room's power, grounding and layout. The performance you've already paid for is in there. We let it out.

Unlock gear you already own

That amplifier you bought was engineered to deliver clean current into a clean circuit. Give it one, and it finally performs to spec — many clients describe it as hearing their system for the first time.

Fix the bottleneck, not the symptom

Upgrading components to chase hum, glare or flat dynamics often just moves the problem. When the power and grounding are right, the gremlins disappear — and so does the urge to keep swapping gear.

A fraction of the price of new equipment

Dedicated circuits, proper grounding and quality outlets cost a fraction of what a single high-end component costs — and they improve every component you own, present and future.

Protect the investment you’ve made

Whole-system surge protection, suppression, and stable power extend the life of the equipment you already have. The electrical work pays for itself the first time the grid doesn’t.

Part two

The room is part of the system.

A great hi-fi deserves a room that works with it. We handle the electrical side of a serious listening space — power placement, separation, lighting and infrastructure — so the system and the room behave as one.

Dedicated hi-fi listening room with floor-standing speakers and an equipment rack

Designed around your room, not the walls

Outlets land where your equipment rack and amplifiers actually sit — not wherever the original builder felt like putting them. We plan the room layout first, then wire to match it.

In-wall infrastructure

Concealed conduit and clean cable paths keep speaker runs, interconnects and power separated, with spare pathways in place so future upgrades never mean cutting drywall.

Lighting that doesn’t pollute

Lighting circuits and dimmers are designed away from your audio circuits, with low-noise dimming so the mood lighting stays silent in your system’s noise floor.

Climate & environment

Amplifiers, tubes and vinyl want a stable environment. We plan dedicated circuits for climate control so your listening room stays comfortable without disturbing the system that shares its walls.

Future-proof power

Bigger amplifiers, mono blocks, a second rack — inevitable upgrades. We leave headroom in the panel and circuits so your electrical infrastructure never becomes the bottleneck.

How it works

Four steps to a quieter, better-sounding system.

01

Listen first

We start by understanding your system, your room and what bothers you — hum, haze, flat dynamics. The symptom usually points straight at the electrical cause.

02

Design the plan

You get a written plan: circuit design, outlet placement, grounding corrections and separation strategy — quoted transparently before we touch anything.

03

Install it right

Licensed, neat, code-compliant work. Home runs pulled, outlets set, panels labeled — done in one clean visit with your system treated like the investment it is.

04

Verify & tune

We confirm the results with you at the listening chair: noise floor, hum, background quiet. The proof is what you hear with the lights on, the HVAC running and your favorite record playing.

Success story

The hum is gone. The system finally sounds like what it cost.

"I'd chased a hum through my system for three years — swapped cables, moved the turntable, even blamed the amp. Gavin spent one afternoon in the room, found a ground loop and a shared circuit with the lighting dimmers, and rewired it properly. First time I've heard true black between the notes. The noise floor dropped so far I had to re-set my volume references. Worth every cent, and he explained everything as he went."

The project

A dedicated listening room with high-end mono blocks, fed by the same circuit as the hallway dimmers. We rebuilt the electrical foundation in a single day.

  • Two 20A dedicated circuits
  • Ground-loop hum traced & eliminated
  • Hospital-grade outlets installed

Tell us about your system and your room — we'll walk it with you, find the electrical gremlins, and quote the fix transparently.
